I am a doula and certified birth assistant, currently serving Elko and surrounding regions.
My interest in doula services began in 2023 with the birth of my son. It was my first pregnancy, and the experience deeply impacted my understanding of childbirth – the need for emotional and physical support, empowerment and empathetic care. I truly cannot imagine going through that labor and delivery without the support of my doula, and it is now my goal to provide this service and informed care to other mothers and parents.
In my personal life, I am an avid reader and enjoy exploring the outdoors – particularly hiking or walking local trails with friends and family. I also enjoy Pilates, running, and baking creative cookie recipes with my sister. I often find myself seeing the connections between these beautiful moments in life, and the calling of becoming a doula. It is my every hope and aspiration to help you and your little one flourish in your life together, that begins with the momentous and awe-inspiring journey of pregnancy and childbirth.
I received my BS in Communications from Utah Valley University in 2021, while working at a local non-profit whose aim was to provide medical and dental care to families in underserved communities. I began training as a doula soon after my postpartum recovery and now hold certification as a birth assistant through Aspire Birth Academy. I have also completed a 21-hour DONA International Doula Training.
Since moving to Nevada, I have continued working with local midwives and expanding my knowledge in evidence-based doula care. I look forward to connecting with you!
