I’m so beyond thankful that Lucy was with me for my first baby. She showed such an incredible amount of care and love towards me and my family and was genuinely invested in helping me have a positive prenatal, labor/delivery, and postpartum experience. Lucy was knowledgeable, positive, and encouraging through every step, especially when things didn’t go quite to my plans. Having her there to hold my hand during and after labor was so important to me and I really felt like she was there to support me through something scary. Lucy is AMAZING! I can’t imagine going through my birth experience without her. Anyone would be lucky to have someone like Lucy in their corner.
Lucy was amazing! I was adamant about having a doula this time around, and she was so wonderful! She learned everything I wanted during my labor and delivery and advocated beautifully. She asked questions I hadn’t thought about and I felt so supported and ready before ever going into labor. I had an unmedicated birth and I felt so supported in it. She reassured me that my body knew what it was doing and that I was strong and would make it through. Having her there to help with my pain management and encouragement and advocating for me allowed my husband to provide the emotional support I needed. He didn’t have to focus on anything else, and I knew I had both of them in my corner. My previous labor and delivery was quite traumatic and I truly believe that hiring Lucy allowed me to have the opposite experience this time around. I highly recommend Lucy. 😊
